Culture Eats Strategy For Breakfast

I believe that every person on your team should be a leader. Yet the reality is that most leaders in business today were never equipped for leadership and now find leading people one of the most difficult parts of their job. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping everyday leaders become effective leaders.
I was talking with one of the senior team at Gloria Jeans Coffees recently and she made a memorable statement as we discussed the different ways leaders can view the challenges facing their teams.
Sadly it’s something many organizations don’t seem to understand- “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” I couldn’t agree more.
